Sick sick sick

I've been struck down with the Norovirus :[ (well the last few days)
I am now in quarantine.
Sad. I never really get ill.
On the plus side I've lost a few pounds of weight and gained a few in cash from being housebound.
Also, my skin is getting a break from make up.

Bungeeeeee | The New Hair Bobble

Considering I make hair tutorials on YouTube, I've realised that I haven't actually featured any hair stuff, so here it is, my first hair related post...
Bungee Hair Ties

This is the first time I've tried them and I really like them. They're comfortable, easy to use, and hold your hair where you put it without it dropping. This is the main reason I got them, because there's nothing worse than putting your hair in a high ponytail, and having it drop through out the day! You just kind of anchor it in under your ponytail, wrap it around a couple of times, and hook the other end in too. Done.

I read reviews on these particular ones that said they snap, so I'll let you know if it happens, but they seem pretty sturdy to me. I got them off amazon here, but I imagine they'll be popping up in shops soon :]

Update | Angry Acne

Hello stranger. It’s been awhile. Sorry about that.
Update? I have developed two lovely acne patches on my cheeks (face.Obv.) And without sounding dramatic it’s really getting me down. I've never suffered with it before, just the odd break out. I realise that there are much more severe cases than what I have, and at least I’m at the age were there aren’t any nasty comments being thrown about. However, it’s annoying and painful, and what makes it worse is I think it is partly my own doing. You know how it is, getting excited and trying lots of different things, but I think my skin has just gone “ERMAHGERD! NO TY” *Boom*
 Fair enough skin.
Soooo, I figured I’d cut out all the unnecessary stuff and just go back to basics, which for me is Purity - Awesome organic skin care.  I highly recommend the night moisturiser and make up remover if you want to try something. I think it’s really helping, and I’m now cursing myself for moving away from it. It’s a good price point too, especially for what you and your skin get from it. I can’t say enough good things about this brand, it is genuinely amazing and I love it.
Alongside my natural basic skincare, I’m rocking the magic mineral make up, because I want to hide those angry patches as best as possible without making it worse. Mineral make up is known for its awesomeness, and being good for the skin. I’ve used Bare Minerals and ELF, but I think my favourite is LilyLolo. The foundation samples are genius, and the coverage/pigment is great. As with all mineral stuff I’ve used, I have to use a primer if I want it to stick around all day, but half the time I don’t bother because:
 1. I’m lazy
 2. I want minimal products on my face
& 3. It wears away lovely anyway. No patches, no issue.
So moral of the story?
Less is more
(Unless it’s shoes....Always more with shoes)
